Chen Wan-Jen was born in Hsinchu in 1982. He graduated from the Department of Fine Arts, National Taiwan University of Arts in 2005. Chen is the recipient of the Grand Prize in the 2006 Taipei Art Awards. In 2012, he was invited for a residency by the International Studio and Curatorial Program (ISCP) in New York. His works are included in the collections of National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, Taipei Fine Arts Museum and Australia’s White Rabbit Gallery. In recent years, he has been featured in exhibitions in Taiwan, New York, Berlin, Paris. St. Petersburg, Tokyo, Madrid, Shanghai, Hangzhou, etc.
