Lin Hong-Wen
Lin Hong-Wen (b. 1961) was born in Tainan. Graduated from the Department of Fine Arts, National Taiwan Academy of Arts (now National Taiwan University of Arts) in 1982, he is now a professor at the Department of Fine Arts, Tainan University of Technology, and an adjunct professor at the Graduate Institute of Architecture, Tainan National University of the Arts. Lin is known as a pioneer in the curatorial and creative practice of environmental art in Taiwan. Currently based in Tainan, he has extended his art network to Hong Kong, Macau, Australia, USA, Canada and China through artist residencies and exhibitions. His works have been included in art collections worldwide, among which are the Museum of Villa des Arts in Casablanca, Morocco; Taipei Fine Arts Museum; Bank of New Zealand; Lodz Biennial; Yuzi Paradise in Guilin, China, etc.
