Artist Miyuki Yokomizo was invited to participate in the group exhibition at Shinjuku Takashimaya Gallery

Artist News

Miyuki Yokomizo will participate in the group exhibition "White and Black - Light and Shadow" at Takashimaya Gallery.

Miyuki Yokomizo will exhibit new works from her "crossing" series, in which she uses a unique technique to create countless layers of "lines" on the canvas. In keeping with the exhibition theme, the works, created with limited colors of "white" and "black," create sculptural and rich shadows, giving the viewer a sense of infinite depth and expansion.

At the same time, the countless "lines" that traverse in all directions are like an inorganic network of information transmission that continues to evolve day by day, and at the same time, they remind us of the neurons and synapses that govern our intellect, emotions, and behavior.

This exhibition is a traveling exhibition that will be held at four Takashimaya Gallery in Nihonbashi, Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, and Nagoya. The exhibition will travel to four Takashimaya stores in Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, and Nagoya.
