Kuang-Yu Tsui is invited to the exhibition “Nonsense Agency” which will be on view from September 7 till December 15 at the Pier- Art Center, Kaohsiung.
This exhibition invites eight artists who are adept in using parody to portray the multitude facets of life. Artists who derive inspiration from urban life and try new methods to relate with daily minutia, so as to transform cognition and reality. Behind these comical and joking expressions are serious social observations and urgent concern. The artists make a leap out of the social system and wage guerrilla-like daily experiments to create more possibilities for the dull life.
