Double Square Gallery is pleased to host a photography talk by artist Zhang Xiaoxiong, joined in conversation with independent curator Hu Yung-Fen and independent critic Poor Man. Together, they will delve into the visual language and recurring themes in Zhang’s photographic practice.

In this talk, Zhang Xiaoxiong will share how he uses the camera to observe the everyday, as well as capture the purity and fluidity in the movements of dancers and athletes—moments that embody the fleeting nature of youth. Beyond documenting human relationships with subtlety, he will also reflect on his enduring exploration of time, memory, and the language of images.
